Fantastic Plastic Machine... (Discografia oficial COMPLETA + algunos Sound Concierges en DD)

Es así como se le conoce al Señor Tomoyuki Tanaka (田中知之) quien es un DJ y artista electronico japones y hace parte del movimiento Shibuya Kei (subgenero del Jpop originado en Shibuya, un distrito de Tokio la cual consiste en la mezcla de Jazz, Pop y Electropop), y como dice entre parentesis del shibuya kei, en su musica abundan las mezclas de los generos anteriormente mencionados y tambien el Bossa Nova, el Lounge, el House y las BSO's de los años '60.

Despues de una serie de proyectos musicales en los que participó inicialmente (Margarine Strikes Back como bajista, Sound Impossible como uno de los DJ's del equipo) decidió aconsejado por su amigo y tambien artista Towa Tei el iniciar su propio proyecto.
En 1997 se creó el proyecto Fantastic Plastic Machine (para ese entonces yo era un pequeño niño de 11 años!!! XD) bajo la casa discografica Readymade Records (una marca de Columbia Music Entertainment).

El se encargó de dirigir tambien 2 programas radiales. Uno de Cultura Pop japonesa y el otro programa en 2004 llamado Sound Concierge.

Parte de su musica fue utilizada para bandas sonoras de peliculas, series y videojuegos tales como The Girl Next Door (Electric Lady Land), Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (Bachelor Pad Fpm mix), En el juego Beatmania IIDX 6th style sale una mezcla corta de su canción Beautiful Days. Dentro de la BSO del sitcom britanico Spaced aparecen 3 de sus canciones (Theme of Luxury, S'Il Vous Plait y There Must Be an Angel).

Actualmente Tanaka esta en el proyecto RAVEX (una colaboración con sus amigos DJ's de Avex Shinichi Osawa y Taku Takahashi para conmemorar los 20 años de la marca Avex, tambien en colaboración con otros artistas como Namie Amuro, BoA, Tohoshinki, o Anna Tsuchiya (Estoy en busca de ese album para subirlo este fin de semana si es que lo encuentro!)
